What an APP does

An APP is approved by the tax authority to receive your invoice data, validate it, and submit it to NRS. You integrate your ERP, accounting software, or POS with the APP; the APP handles the rest. Picking an APP is a business and technical decision, not just a compliance one.

What to consider

Sector and volume
Some APPs specialise in certain industries or are built for high transaction volumes. Match the APP to your sector and expected volume.

Existing systems
Check whether the APP has ready integrations or certified connectors for your ERP or accounting system. Custom integration is possible but adds time and cost.

Support and SLAs
You need clear support channels and uptime commitments. When e-invoicing is mandatory, downtime can block invoicing.
